Social Responsibility is a way to involve kids in giving back to the society.
Teaching social responsibility to children is a must and is a part of their overall development. Development of the sense of social responsibility in children is necessary as they are the future of our country. A social responsible child can be a responsible citizen of our country. Remember, the things that are taught in childhood stays throughout the life of the person. So, at Petals Kids, we involve kids in the activities that helps us in raising children to be socially aware, community oriented about their world which is very vital in today’s global society.Military Hospital Kirkee, Pune : Known for the second largest Paraplegic Hospital and its Spinal Cord Injury centre.
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival, kids of Petals School visited the Military Hospital Kirkee and tied Rakhi on the wrist of Army Soldiers and gave them sweets and fruits. The soldiers were happy to meet and spend time with our cute little Petalites.
Petalites of Srkg class visited the Old Age Home. They gave flowers to the housemates, sang rhymes and poems for them and spent time talking to them. The housemates were very happy and thrilled after meeting and spending time with our Petalites.
Petals Kids team visited Artificial Limb Centre in Wanowrie, Pune. On the occasion of Holi, sweets were distributed to our soldiers who have lost their limbs on the frontiers fighting for our country.
Goodie Bags contained Hand Written Notes, Paintings by our Petalites and Eatables for our Indian Soldiers posted on the border. Army soldiers sacrifice so much for their communities and country. This was a small gesture for our beloved soldiers from the staff members and the little Petalites of Petals Kids.
