About Petals Kids School: A Joyful Garden of Early Learning
Petals Kids is a chain of preschool and daycare centres across Pune and PCMC built on one simple belief: every child blooms when given the right environment, the right people and the right time. We are not a franchise. We are a founder-led organisation that has stayed close to one curriculum, one teacher training programme and one set of safety standards from day one.
Petals Kids is a child-centric preschool and daycare chain founded by Archana Khosla. Operating 6 preschools and 4 daycare centres across Pune and PCMC, Petals Kids follows a six-domain Outcome-Based Activity Curriculum that balances child-led play with teacher-guided learning for ages 4 months to 13 years.
Research published by NIPCCD India confirms that 80% of brain development happens by age 6. Yet only 22% of Indian preschools follow a structured curriculum aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. Petals Kids was built to close that gap with a documented six-domain curriculum applied identically across every branch.
Our Story in Brief
Petals Kids began with a single branch and a clear conviction from founder Archana Khosla: parents in Pune and PCMC deserved a preschool that took the early years as seriously as they did. We grew because parents asked us to. They moved homes within the city, requested branches in new neighbourhoods and our network expanded along the corridors where young families actually live. Today we run six preschools and four daycare centres serving children from 4 months to 13 years.

Thank you for considering Petals Kids for your child. Choosing a preschool or daycare is often the first big decision parents make about their child’s education and I understand the weight of that moment. I am a parent myself.
At Petals Kids we keep the focus simple. We listen to every child. We build daily routines that respect attention spans. We use stories, songs, role play and structured activities to make learning feel like play because for young children play is learning. We work with parents as partners because what happens at home and what happens at school must reinforce each other for the child to thrive.
Our curriculum is broad. It supports academics, creativity, sports, social skills and cultural awareness. Our team is trained directly by me and reviewed regularly. Our centres are safe, clean and supervised. Most importantly, we are honest with parents about what your child is doing well and what needs a little more attention.

Petals Kids was founded by Archana Khosla, who continues to serve as Founder and Director. She personally oversees curriculum design, teacher training and quality standards across all branches in Pune and PCMC.
Petals Kids follows a child-centric collaborative learning philosophy. The curriculum balances child-initiated play with teacher-facilitated activities and covers six learning domains: language, cognitive, physical, social-emotional, creative arts and life skills.
Assessment at Petals Kids is continuous and milestone-based. Children are evaluated against their own learning goals, not ranked against peers. Parents receive regular updates on each milestone area so they can see specific progress rather than a single comparative score.
Petals Kids is a founder-led organisation. All branches operate under direct curriculum and quality oversight from founder Archana Khosla. This means uniform standards across Wakad, Balewadi, Ravet, Mahalunge, NIBM, Salunke Vihar and Kondhwa branches.
Each Petals Kids classroom has a lead teacher, assistant teacher, daycare coordinator (for daycare-enrolled children), trained caretakers and a centre head. All caretakers and teachers are police-verified and trained in basic first aid and child handling.
