Petals Kids Mahalunge serves families building their lives in one of Pune’s most rapidly developing zones. Curiosity-Led Learning
The Mahalunge branch operates on the same Outcome-Based Activity Curriculum used across Petals Kids. The teaching philosophy focuses on letting children ask questions, run small experiments and develop conclusions on their own with teacher guidance. Children are not taught to memorise. They are taught to observe, test and explain.
Designed for the Baner and University Circle Catchment
Working parents in Baner, Sus Road, Pashan and the University Circle academic cluster make up the largest catchment for Mahalunge. Our schedule and drop-off windows are aligned with the commute patterns into these zones. Families travelling further to Hinjewadi can drop off here without doubling back.
Interactive Play Areas
The Mahalunge branch has multiple play zones segmented by age. Each zone is equipped with age-appropriate climbing equipment, soft mats, balance trails and tactile play stations. Play is treated as core learning, not break time.
Montessori Learning Space
Hands-on educational materials, puzzles, sorting trays, sensory bins and early literacy kits are arranged on shelves children can access independently. Self-directed work periods alternate with guided sessions led by the class teacher.
Sports Zone
Structured physical activity at the Mahalunge sports zone covers strength, coordination, balance and team play. Activities are inclusive and adapted to ability rather than competition-focused at the preschool level.
Audio-Visual Learning Room and Podium
Visual storytelling, curated educational video, projected illustrations and interactive quiz sessions take place in the AV room. The podium area builds early presentation skills, with every child getting regular speaking turns at story circles and themed shows.
